ccredited by ANQA, Armenia’s National Center For Professional Education Quality Assurance the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University was established in the year 1996 and is a Private Co-Educational university for higher education. It is based in the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan. The university is approved by the ministry of education and science of Armenia. Known for the high quality of education, especially in the medical sector the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University is a famous university in Armenia. The university offers numerous courses in different divisions of graduates, postgraduates and doctorates to the students. The top-notch infrastructure and the availability of facilities provided by the university contribute to its popularity in the medical education sector. It is duly recognized by the Medical Council of India and because of this many Indian medical aspirants apply to get admission in the university. The university comprises of different departments and sections which are handled well by experienced faculties and professors. The university maintains a very healthy student-teacher ratio and does not fill extra students in one class so that the professors can focus on each student and their studies. The duration of the MBBS course at the university is for 6 years.
There are 3 major faculties in MBBS course which are provided by the university-
1. Faculty of Dentistry
2. Faculty of Medical Case
3. Faculty of Medical Art
As the university is approved and recognized by the Medical Council of India, it follows curriculum according to the guidelines set by MCI so that Indian students can easily understand the MBBS course and can clear the screening test after graduating from the university. It is considered amongst the best choices for all the students who are planning to pursue MBBS in abroad especially in Armenia. The university does not require the Indian students to provide a certificate of any proficiency test such as ILETS or TOEFL. The capital city, Yerevan where the Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University is located also has an Indian Embassy so the students can easily approach the embassy in case of any trouble related to their passport or theft or any other issue.
The university provides hostel facility for both Armenian and international students. The hostels are fully furnished and provided with basic infrastructure facilities in the rooms. The hostel rooms are regularly cleaned and maintained. The environment in the university is very friendly and the international students are regularly checked upon. The university also organizes many extra-curricular activities such as sports, cultural events and several social activities. The students are asked to get their internship done in some of the best hospitals in the city under the supervision of expert doctors with many years of experience.
FACILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY
Once a student pays his yearly Tuition and hostel fees to the University he/she is automatically entitled to the following facilities of the University:
* Every student will get furnished hostel accommodation single, double or triple type of room) having the following facilities. There are separate rooms for girls.
* Furniture which includes bed, study table, visitors chairs, bookshelf, side table, etc.
* Mattresses, blanket, bed sheets, pillow, curtains, etc.
* Common kitchen with all amenities except utensils
* Common recreation center
* Electricity
* Hot and cold water supply
* Centralized heaters to keep the hostel rooms warm on winter between November and March
* Lift facilities
* Every weekend the students get their bedspreads, blankets and pillow covers changed
* Free books, course materials and printed lecture notes are given for all subjects. The lecture notes can be used for all exam preparation in India including the screening test and PG entrance exams in all states of India.
* Medical facilities including accident insurance (upon payment of Medical insurance)
