ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy is one of the oldest leading institutions of higher education in Ukraine, whose history originates from the odontology faculty established at the Kharkiv Medical Academy in 1921. The faculty became the first academic specialized educational institution for the training of dental practitioners. In 1931 the faculty was reorganized into the Kharkiv Dental Institute, which in 1967 was transferred to the city of Poltava.
In 1994, the decision of the Interdepartmental Accreditation Commission and the order of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, the institution of education was accredited with the highest level IV of accreditation. In the same year, the Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy was established on the basis of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. On the basis of a letter from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 02.08.1994, the Academy opened a nursing faculty; in 1995 a dental department, on the basis of which in 2005 a medical college was created.
According to the decision of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine of April 11, 2000, the Academy for the first time received a license for the right of training specialists in the field of "Pediatrics".
According to the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated March 28, 2005 No. 133, the name "Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine" Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy "was changed.
According to the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 09.6.2018, Ne 349, the Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine "Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy" was renamed into the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy.
The Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy conducts undergraduate training of specialists at 4 faculties: dental, medical Ne1, medical Ne2, preparation of foreign students;postgraduate studies on the basis of the educational scientific institute of postgraduate education; before joining Zvo at the pre-university preparatory department, preparatory department for foreign citizens. The medical college has a medical and pharmaceutical department.
In accordance with the license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 21, 2018, No. 1352-I), the Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy conducts training of specialists in specialties at the level: masters:
* Dentistry (221, term of study-5 years)
* Medicine (222, term ofstudy-5.8 years)
* Pediatrics (228, termof study-5.8 years)

* Dentistry (7.12010005, term of study-5 years)
* Medical business (7.12010001, term of study 5.8 years)
* Pediatrics (7.12010002, term of study-5.8 years)
FACILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY
Once a student pays his yearly Tuition and hostel fees to the University he/she is automatically entitled to the following facilities of the University:
* Every student will get furnished hostel accommodation single, double or triple type of room) having the following facilities. There are separate rooms for girls.
* Furniture which includes bed, study table, visitors chairs, bookshelf, side table, etc.
* Mattresses, blanket, bed sheets, pillow, curtains, etc.
* Common kitchen with all amenities except utensils
* Common recreation center
* Electricity
* Hot and cold water supply
* Centralized heaters to keep the hostel rooms warm on winter between November and March
* Lift facilities
* Every weekend the students get their bedspreads, blankets and pillow covers changed
* Free books, course materials and printed lecture notes are given for all subjects. The lecture notes can be used for all exam preparation in India including the screening test and PG entrance exams in all states of India.
* Medical facilities including accident insurance (upon payment of Medical insurance)
* Free on call emergency ambulance services (Emergency toll free no: 103)
* Free access to reading rooms, libraries and laboratories
* Free access to all the training and recreational facilities,parks, museum, etc.
* Access to sports facilities (Gym, indoor stadium, Football stadium, swimming pools, etc) and cultural complexes
* Access to Internet cafes and High speed WIFI Internet
* Access to University ATM machines
* Arrangements of excursions and educational tours in Ukraine and all Countries
* 24 hours security in hostels Students are given full visa support to visit India during the summer vacations (July 1st to September 10th)
